Information about OLPASS

Development of a European Clearing-House to facilitate Cross-country Exchange of Open and Distance Learning Materials and Components - A project supported by DG XXII of the European Commission Leonardo PROGRAMME

OLPASS aims to provide services which can help publishers improve the distribution of their multimedia training products throughout Europe, and further afield.

OLPASS works through a network of national centres to provide information and services to meet this aim.

The centres in the OLPASS network support suppliers, distributors, experts and users in various aspects of international marketing, e.g. analysis of available products, search for partners, market analysis, standard contracts. The centres also cooperate with sectoral and professional associations and with official agencies concerned with the export of training schemes and multimedia products.

In addition, the OLPASS centres have access to information and specialist documents, including national market profiles, directories, and guides on copyright.
